Of his 29 years of professional experience, Mark Walther spent twenty years in business consultancy and nine years as CEO in medium-sized companies.
Since 1999, he has been working in the management consultancy for mostly family-run medium-sized companies, including a role as a founding partner and CEO of Concentro Management AG until 2013.
Prior to or during his consulting period, Mark spent nine years overall in managing director positions in furniture retailing (€ 180 million in sales) and clay roof tile production (€ 20 million in sales), holding shares in both family companies and directing the shareholders' meetings.
His professional career began in sales at Procter & Gamble and in the consulting firm OC&C Strategy Consultants. He studied business administration at the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel and Paris, as well as at the American Graduate School of International Management in Phoenix. He also holds additional degrees from INSEAD, Fontainebleau (International Executive Program) and Nuremberg University (Restructuring Manager).
His professional passion is corporate development (from strategy to implementation, even in challenging times) and corporate sales, with over 100 completed transactions. His focus is on consulting projects in the areas of trade/e-commerce and services.
Mark is married since 1992, father of five children and loves the mountains as well as France.
Michael Kuhn has 19 years of professional experience in M&A, corporate development and controlling.
After completing his technical training as an industrial electronics engineer, he successfully completed a degree in industrial engineering at the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences.
He then began his professional career at BSH Bosch and Siemens Hausgeräte as an innovation controller and then moved to the field of corporate development as a consultant.
Subsequently, he worked as product line controller and team leader controlling for Webasto AG and also worked there on M&A projects including, among others, intensive participation in the Webasto-Edscha integration team.
Michael’s next job was the BAVARIA Industries Group. As Group Controller, he was responsible for several M&A projects and the subsequent post-merger integration phase. Furthermore, he took on several area and supervisory board mandates with a focus on the automotive industry. In 2018 he joined Walther Management as Director.
He has many years of industry experience in private equity, automotive, plant engineering and consumer goods. His professional passion is particularly focused on M&A process and project management, controlling and portfolio management, liquidity planning, business design modeling and financial planning.
Michael is married and has two Children.
Ralf Schmidt has 31 years of sound professional experience in controlling and accounting.
After training as a tax clerk, he was tested by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce to become a controller and accountant. Ralf started his professional career at Rödl & Partner as an accountant. Afterwards, he worked as Head of Accounting and Controlling with power of attorney at tabacon SÜD GmbH & Co. KG, where he also took over the management of tabacon Franchise GmbH & Co. KG. Ralf then joined the FELDMANN Media Group AG as Head of Finance and Accounting.
Since 2002, he has been an independent consultant concentrating on controlling and accounting, with a focus on the IT services, woodworking industry and plant/mechanical engineering sectors.
Ralf Schmidt‘s professional passion is transparent corporate management through appropriate measures in accounting, reporting, financial planning and cost accounting, as well as in the construction and organization of accounting systems. In corporate development and restructuring, he was responsible for many projects and also has participated in several company sales.
Ralf has been married since 2007 and possesses a passion for travel, photography and Music.
